We are delighted to be part of the Plasticbusters global team and support the 'Adopt the World' initiative as an Ambassador for the Galapagos & Ecuador.

Adopt the World

The 'Adopt the World' iniatitive encourages individuals, groups and busineses to adopt a place (a road, a beach, a park etc) and pledge to maintain it litter free in support of the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (2021-2030). Over 2000 places in 105 countries have already been registered on this initiative. 

Reducing litter and plastic pollution on the Galapagos Islands

We are commited to helping to reduce litter and plastic pollution on the Galapagos Islands and encourage others to join this amazing initiative.  With our community partner Frente Insular RMG we have joined other local volunteers on coastal, urban and rural clean ups and to support World Clean Up Day, International Day of the Mangrove and Earth Day since July 2021.
