Uniquely Galapagos Insurance statement

Uniquely Galapagos is covered by a Civil Liability Insurance policy.                                 

Our insurance does not cover medical expenses, personal accidents or health and illness.   

Travel Insurance

Due to the nature of activities on our itinerary it is mandatory for you to have travel health insurance whilst on our tours in Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. If you decide to travel during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic we recommend your policy covers coronavirus-related events including medical cover and travel disruption including trip cancellation. If you do not have appropriate insurance before you travel, you could be liable for emergency costs including medical treatment.

Payment

You can pay for your experience by Credit card, Debit card or by Bank Transfer.

• A 50% deposit of the tour cost is required if booking more than 60 days before departure.

• Payment in full is required if booking 60 days or less before departure.

Once you are ready to book your experience, we will send you a payment link to complete your booking.

Changes

Any changes you want to make to your experience once it is booked are subject to 3rd party provider charges.

Force Majeure ('' Acts of God'')

Uniquely Galapagos shall have no responsibility or liability and shall not be required to make any refund, partial or full, in the event, without limitation, of any delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike or other labor activity, acts of war, terrorism, disease/pandemics, bad weather, lack of medical care, or other force majeure event or cause beyond Uniquely Galapagos’ direct control. 

Further, Uniquely Galapagos shall have no responsibility for any additional, incidental, or consequential expense due, without limitation, to omissions, delays, re-routing, or acts or omissions of any governmental authority. 

Uniquely Galapagos reserves the right to cancel a trip for force majeure or any other circumstances beyond our control as determined in our sole discretion.  In which case Uniquely Galapagos shall have no responsibility or liability and shall not be required to make any refund

Cancellations

If you have to cancel your experience you will need to request this by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

The following cancellation charges will be applied based on the date of your request.

• More than 60 days before departure: you will lose 50% of the tour cost (deposit)
  
  
• 60-31 days before departure: you will lose 75% of the tour cost
  
  
• 30 days or fewer before departure: you will lose 100% of the tour cost

If we have to cancel your experience for any reason within our control, we will advise you with as much notice as possible and refund your experience fully.
