“Galapagos is a truly special Archipelago with some of the rarest species in the world. In fact, 80% of its land birds and 97% of its reptiles and land mammals are found nowhere else on earth. Worryingly, however, over 55 are today listed as critically endangered and a further 25 endangered on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. If we lose these species from Galapagos, they will be lost to the world forever.

By raising funds and awareness in the UK, GCT is able to support and deliver projects in Galapagos focussed on restoring the islands’ natural habitat, protecting it’s unique species and reducing the impact of the increasing human footprint.”
